Jetman Flies in Formation with Two Jet Planes

“Jetman” Yves Rossy recently flew in formation over the Swiss Alps alongside two jet aircraft from the Breitling Jet Team.

Rossy, outfitted with a sturdy wing and four jet engines, jumped off a helicopter to begin his flight. He flew alongside the two L-39C Albatros jets using only his body movements to execute the midair maneuvers. The jets and their pilots are part of the Breitling Jet Team, a civilian aerobatics team.

World's Tallest Lego Christmas Tree in London

A giant Lego Christmas tree has been unveiled at London's St Pancras station, the tallest tree ever built with the toy bricks, Lego has confirmed that its the worlds tallest tree ever constructed using just Lego alone.

Spanning 10-meters tall, the project utilizes 600,000 Lego bricks to compose 172 branches. 1200 Christmas balls, also composed of LEGOs, were assembled by Elementary School children before being hung from the sculpture.

After two months of arduous construction, the tree is now on display in the main station at St. Pancras.

Cyber Monday, for those of you who haven’t yet heard of it, is only the BIGGEST day in online shopping of the year. The Monday following Black Friday is a day where many of you will be glued to your computer screens, credit card in hand, making holiday purchases.

Cyber Monday is a relatively new thing having begun in 2004, however it’s youth has not stopped it from growing in popularity. In 2010 the average transaction was $195 up from the 2008 average of $130. Last year’s Cyber Monday also saw a record amount of total money spent the total coming in at $1.03 billion. If you want to save the money, but were too lazy to get up this past Friday you may want to check out some Cyber Monday deals.

India Talent Show - Warriors of Goja

The 'Warriors Of Goja' blew away the audience of the Indian talent show Adhurs by chewing glass, breaking boards on each other's bodies, and smashing clay pots on their abs with axes, among other feats.

The group of Sikh men put on a stunning performance, showing remarkable endurance as they withstood beatings from wooden sticks and being run over by a car.

According to International Business Times, the Warriors of Goja won 300,000 rupees, or about $5,800 USD. However, they did not make it to the show's finals.

Ghost Town - Hashima Island, Japan

The island was populated from 1887 to 1974 as a coal mining facility. It had 5,259 inhabitants and was made by the Mitsubishi Company. It was once the most crowded city in the world with 5,259 inhabitants, and then it got abandoned. Now the only life it has are small animals and some visitors.

The black and white photos add a sense of despair to the abandoned cityscape, I think the beautiful photographs in this gallery warrant a second look.

Pepper Spraying Cop Becomes Internet Meme

Last week, news broke out that U.C. Davis campus police pepper-sprayed non-violent students protesting on campus as part of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The videos shot of the scene showed a policeman, Lt. John Pike, walking up to the protesters, pulling out his pepper spray and then dousing them at close range. As expected, over the weekend, the incident went viral.

The Internet found a way to shame Lt. Pike for his actions. An accompanying Tumblr blog called Pepper Spraying Cop has now sprung up and that notorious photo is being photoshopped into everything from Edward Hopper paintings to Pink Floyd album covers to Star Wars stills.

The 25-ton, 70 foot long Midnight Rider is the world's heaviest limousine, according the the Guinness Book of World Records. Technically a "Tractor-Trailer Limousine," it was built between 1997 and 2004.

The owners of “The Midnight Rider” built it in order to recreate the possibility of relaxed, long-distance, luxury travel that used to be available via railroad. When viewed from the correct angle, people standing on top of them look like they are floating in thin air, and solid concrete can look like gaping chasms. Kurt has been perfecting his technique since 1982. Now, using the skills he has perfected over 30 years, he is able to create stereoscopic images, such as the one above enabling people to walk along imaginary webs slung by Spiderman.

More than 1,000 of the fans received wrist bands that will get them near the red carpet for the premiere. The film is releasing on Nov. 18.

Walkable Roller Coaster In Germany

Designed by Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth, the "Tiger and Turtle - Magic Mountain" sculpture is a new and unique way for one to experience a roller coaster without all those shrieking screams. Constructed out of steel, tin, and zinc, the sinuous walkway rises 66 ft into the air and has 249 steps that encourage visitors to walk along its track.

Found on top of a mining waste tip, the piece is meant to be a landmark in Duisburg, Germany, as it stands nearly 280 ft above sea level. LED lights line the 722 ft long coaster so visitors can explore it day or night, taking in the surrounding sights. The whole project cost roughly $2.7 million and used 120 tons of steel! "The roller coaster stands for acceleration and high speed of a tiger but the visitor has to explore it step by step like a turtle," says designer Ulrich Genth. Do you dare?

The Buenos Aires-based Werning writes of the project: "I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today... A few months ago, I decided to actually do this. So, with my camera, I started inviting people to go back to their future."

Motorcycle That Runs on Poop

Japanese toilet manufacturer TOTO has created a bike that runs on feces. The human waste, which is stored in the driver's seat, is turned into biofuel that powers the three-wheeled chopper, according to WTOP. It has even performed 870-mile (1,400 km) countrywide tour across Japan.

The company says it hopes the bike will help raise environmental awareness and reduce CO2 emissions in bathrooms by 50 percent by 2017, motorcycle magazine Clutch and Chrome reports.
